Empowering Young women, Transforming Community

Building a future where every girl can thrive.

About We For Girls

We for Girls is a grassroots, young women–led organization based in Turkana County, Kenya. Our vision is to create a society where girls and young women can live free from all forms of violence, discrimination, and harmful cultural practices.

The organization was established in response to the growing need to address gender inequalities, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), and barriers to girls’ education and leadership. Since our inception, we have been at the forefront of advocacy, championing policies that protect women and girls—particularly the implementation of SGBV and GBV frameworks and the Social Protection Policy.
